Michel De Olivera

Waterstone Grand Facility Manager

Michel hails originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High. He went on to earn an Associate degree from Miami-Dade College. Michel has a background in logistics and graphic design. For five years, he previously lent his talents to our community standards, logistics, customer service, and administrative departments gaining experience in all these areas along the way and then we encouraged him to become a licensed Manager. He is currently Alton Madison’s Facility and Hospitality Manager and handles various Administrative and HOA duties. He is a licensed CAM (Community Association Manager) in the State of Florida.

In addition to his management responsibilities, he is a member of the firm’s Human Resource (HR) Committee and Quality Control Committee. The primary objective of the QCC is to maintain and enhance the quality control and efficiency standards of Alton Madison through monitoring, inspections, and reporting while improving the technical and communications skills of our Associates.

Valerie Sánchez

Director of Hospitality

Valerie Sánchez joins the Waterstone Grand team as Director of Hospitality. Valerie graduated with honors from Florida International University, where she earned both her Master’s and Bachelors of Science degrees with a concentration in Hospitality Management. Valerie adds a spirit of service to the Waterstone Clubhouse, where she greets each and every resident on a daily basis. She is CPR certified, as well as a wedding planner who has received additional training. Her primary focus is on meeting the requirements of our members and visitors on a regular basis, while also ensuring that the clubhouse runs properly.

Charles R. Gugliuzza

Waterstone Grand Executive Manager

To Charles’ credits is being named the 2008 Homestead Citizen of the Year. Charles received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and in Sociology with both football & scholastic achievements 100% scholarships. Charles is a partner of AMPM. In addition to his Accounting & Finance background, he is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Certified Association Manager (CAM) in Florida.

 
 
During the last eighteen years, Charles has been associated with AMPM as a Partner and Director of Client Services. During his career, he has gained vast experience in Florida Statutes, Association bookkeeping, insurance planning, and HOA operational systems. His current responsibilities include supervising and performing these duties for clients. In addition, he is responsible for providing consulting services and ensuring client expectations are met. Charles’ strengths include his overall familiarity with the needs and concerns of Associations and not-for-profit Boards, and his understanding of operational issues affecting HOAs of all sizes. The combination of these skills enables him to offer solid, helpful, and meaningful suggestions to enhance the operation of an HOA.
 
He is a member of Knights of Columbus and served on the Board of Homestead Chamber. AMPM is a Trustee Member of the Chamber. Charles is active in Kiwanis, having served as an International Trustee, served as the Florida District Chair of the Worldwide Service Project, as well as the Key Club Zone Administrator for Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties and the Cayman Islands. He has served as President of the Kiwanis Club of Homestead and as Florida Kiwanis Governor.

Sal

Salvatore A. Gugliuzza

AMPM Executive Management

Sal received his Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting and graduated with Honors from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Sal is a Partner of Alton Madison Property Management (AMPM) located in Homestead, Florida. His current responsibilities include Director of Information Technology & Operations. Being a former programmer, he developed the HOA software and operations system used by and proprietary to Alton Madison Property Management.

During the last twenty five, Sal has been associated with the accounting firms of Eichenbaum & Co. (Philadelphia); John, Morrison & Co. (NY); and SCG & Company of Miami, Florida. Since 1986, he was a manager in those firms and his responsibilities have included the planning, coordination, supervision, and quality control of all tax, financial reporting, audit, and consulting engagements to ensure client expectations were met. Sal’s other former professional experience includes being the Accounting Manager of a construction company and homebuilder, Treasurer of his Condominium Association and Senior Vice President of Finance & Operations for a local financial institution.

For the last twenty five years, Sal has worked closely with Boards and staff at all levels of an organization to ensure that issues and results of all work are communicated timely in a manner that is understandable, objective, straightforward, and helpful.

Sal is a member of the Pinecrest Business Assoc. and Chamber South. As a former Scout & Explorer, he supports his son and daughter in volunteer service to the community including hospitals and Kiwanis Key Club. He has written several articles for various publications and he is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars.
